Hi, I’m Chef Seraphina, the heart and hands behind CookingWithSeraphina.com.
I grew up in a small coastal town where food wasn’t just something we ate—it was how we showed love. My earliest memories are of standing beside my mother in our warm, bustling kitchen, watching her turn the simplest ingredients into meals that brought everyone to the table. The scent of garlic sizzling in olive oil, fresh herbs from the garden, and bread baking in the oven are memories that still live with me today.
But my love for cooking deepened even more through my grandmother. She believed that every dish carried a story. When I was little, she would let me help knead dough or stir slow-simmering sauces while she told me about the recipes she learned from her own mother. She used to say, “Food feeds the body, but cooking feeds the soul.” I didn’t fully understand it then—but I do now.
Life, of course, didn’t always stay simple. There were busy years, challenges, and moments when cooking felt like the only quiet place I could return to. In those moments, the kitchen became my refuge. It was where I could slow down, breathe, and create something meaningful again.
Cooking With Seraphina was born from that feeling.
This space is where I share the recipes that have shaped my life—from comforting family dishes to simple meals that make everyday moments feel special. My goal isn’t perfection. It’s to help you feel confident in your kitchen, to remind you that cooking can be joyful, and to show that even the simplest meal can bring people closer together.
Whether you’re preparing a quick dinner after a long day or trying something new on a quiet weekend, I hope the recipes here bring warmth to your table and a little happiness to your day.
So welcome to my kitchen—where the recipes are heartfelt, the stories are real, and every meal is made to be enjoyed.
