Ingredients
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 cups peeled, cubed apples
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, and melted butter for the crust
Press mixture into a 9×13-inch baking dish
Bake crust for 10 minutes, let cool slightly
In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth
Mix in sour cream, eggs, and vanilla extract
Pour cheesecake layer over cooled crust
Bake 20 minutes, let cool to room temperature
Toss apples with flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg
Arrange spiced apples over cheesecake
Bake 25-30 more minutes until golden
Let bars cool completely
Pour caramel sauce and drizzle heavy cream overtop
Chill 4 hours before cutting into bars
