Description
Buttery, yeasted dough rolls filled with a luscious white chocolate, almond, and fresh peach medley. A harmony of sweetness and tangy fruit flavors, perfect for breakfast or dessert.
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup milk (room temperature)
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp active dry yeast
1/4 tsp salt
2 large eggs
1/3 cup softened butter
1 cup white chocolate chips
8 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
8 oz mascarpone cheese
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp almond extract (alcohol-free)
2 ripe peaches (peeled, sliced)
1 tbsp light corn syrup or maple syrup
1 tbsp milk (for glaze)
Instructions
Whisk warm milk, sugar, and yeast until frothy. Combine flour, salt, eggs, and butter; mix until a soft dough forms. Knead for 8-10 minutes until silky. Let rise 45 minutes in a warm place.
Beat cream cheese, mascarpone, white chocolate, sugar, and almond extract until smooth. Set aside half for filling; reserve the rest for assembly.
Roll dough into a 12×18-inch rectangle. Spread half the filling, leaving a border. Arrange peach slices evenly, then spread remaining filling lightly over peaches. Roll tightly, then cut into 12 1-5/8 inch slices.
Place rolls seam-side down on parchment-lined baking sheets. Let rest 10 minutes. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-22 minutes until golden.
Meanwhile, mix reserved filling with corn syrup to make a drizzle. Brush onto warm rolls and serve.
