Description

This hearty, no-bake dessert combines sweet peaches with a whole-grain oat topping for a comforting, healthy treat. Perfect for fast weeknights or cozy meals, it’s a crowd-pleasing mix of warm fruit and crisp, nutty crumble.

Ingredients

Scale

4 cups peeled and sliced fresh or canned peaches, drained
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

Layer sliced peaches in a parchment-lined 9×13-inch baking dish
Sprinkle the mixture of flour, sugars, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt over the peaches
Evenly spread softened butter across the dry layer using a spatula
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 35-45 minutes, until the topping is golden and the fruit is tender
Let cool slightly before serving

Notes

Use peeled fresh peaches or canned peaches in natural juice
Top with a splash of milk to create a more moist crumble if desired
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days
For extra flavor, try adding a few drops of pure vanilla extract (alcohol-free alternatives are available)
