Description

Transport yourself back to sun-drenched childhood summers with this delightful No Bake Orange Creamsicle Cheesecake. This cooling, stress-free dessert perfectly balances the zesty brightness of orange with a velvety, rich cream cheese foundation. Requiring no oven, it is a meditative and simple recipe that delivers professional results, making it the perfect centerpiece for warm-weather gatherings or a quiet, personal retreat at home.

Ingredients

Scale

12 ounces vanilla wafers, crushed into fine crumbs
1 1/2 cups sugar, divided
1 stick unsalted butter, melted and cooled
16 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 cups heavy whipping cream, chilled
1 package orange flavored gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1 tablespoon fresh orange zest

Instructions

Combine the crushed vanilla wafers, 1/2 cup sugar, and melted butter in a bowl and press firmly into the bottom of a springform pan. Chill in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
Dissolve the orange gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water, then set aside to cool slightly.
In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the remaining 1 cup of sugar until light and fluffy.
In a separate chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until smooth.
Divide the cream cheese mixture into two bowls.
Whisk the cooled orange gelatin into one of the bowls along with the orange zest.
Spoon alternating dollops of the plain cream and the orange-cream mixture into the crust, swirling lightly with a knife to create a marble effect.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set, before slicing and serving.

Notes

Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened to room temperature to prevent lumps. For the best texture, keep the heavy whipping cream in the refrigerator until the very moment you are ready to whip it. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
