Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon active dry yeast
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1/2 cup warm milk
1/4 cup melted unsalted butter
1/2 egg
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 cups diced ripe peaches
1 tablespoon cornstarch
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C)
In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk, then add melted butter, sugar, and egg. Gradually mix in flour to form a soft dough
Knead dough for 5 minutes and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes or until doubled
Roll dough into a 16×12 inch rectangle. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly, then dot with softened butter
Mix in a bowl: cornstarch with brown sugar and cinnamon. Spread diced peaches over the dough, pressing lightly
Roll the dough tightly, slice into 12 even rolls, and place in a greased 9×13 inch baking pan
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden
In a separate bowl, blend cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth
Cool rolls slightly and spread frosting evenly before serving
Notes
Use fresh, ripe peaches for natural sweetness
For a softer texture, brush rolls with melted butter before baking
Freeze assembled rolls (unbaked) for up to 1 month; bake directly from frozen with extra 5-7 minutes
