Description

A nostalgic dessert blending a salty-pretzel crust, creamy cheese, and tangy raspberry jello. Perfect for sweet-savory lovers or any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale

2½ cups salted pretzels, lightly crushed
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
8 oz cream cheese, softened
¼ cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups water
1 package halal-friendly raspberry gelatin (e.g., agar agar)
1½ cups fresh or thawed frozen raspberries
½ cup preserved raspberries
¼ cup granulated sugar (optional, for jello sweetness)

Instructions

Mix crushed pretzels and melted butter; press into a greased 9×9-inch pan. Chill for 15 minutes.
In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over pretzel crust and chill for 20 minutes.
For the jello: Boil 2 cups water, stir in gelatin, and add cooled raspberries and sugar (if using). Pour over cream cheese layer. Chill for 2-3 hours until set.
Cut into 12 slices and serve chilled.

Notes

Use agar agar or vegetable-based gelatin for halal compliance. Adjust jello sweetness to taste. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
