Ingredients
1 1/2 cups whole milk
1 cup sliced fresh bananas
1 cup diced fresh strawberries
3 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
1 envelope instant vanilla pudding mix
1/4 cup vegan butter (halal-certified)
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 1/2 cups crushed vanilla wafers (halal-certified)
Extra crushed wafers for topping
Instructions
In a bowl, mix milk, pudding mix, 3 tbsp sugar, and mashed bananas (optional) as per pudding package instructions.
Layer crushed wafers at the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish.
Add half the pudding mixture, then half the bananas, and half the strawberries.
Repeat layers with remaining ingredients, finishing with a crust of crushed wafers and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
Notes
For a vegan option, use almond milk and vegan wafers.
Chill longer (overnight) for better flavor integration.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 6 hours.
